This summer we are organising a group outing for Friends of the IHR to Strawberry Hill House on Wednesday 10 August.

As you may know, Strawberry Hill House was created by Horace Walpole in the 18th century, and is known for its beautiful gothic architecture. The house has been recently restored and has only just been opened to the public. For more details on the house and its gardens please have a look at their website: www.strawberryhillhouse.org.uk

The tour, which will be exclusively for the Friends, will begin at 11.30am and lasts for approximately one and a half hours. The cost will be ￡15.00 per person.

After the tour it will be possible to buy a light lunch in the cafe at the house. If you would like to do this, please let us know and we will book a table for our group.

We are limited to 20 places so please contact us if you would like to book a place.
